In addition to these unique speleothems and thanks to the multitude of forms and varieties that gypsum can adopt as it precipitates, there are many other sorts of gypsiferous speleothems. Visitors to the Sorbas Karst can admire examples of these, such as box-work on the walls and ceilings, rounded stalagmites and coraloids, flowstones and gypsum clouds, evaporation rings, and many others. In many cases, it is not even known how they were formed – another unknown mystery of the Sorbas Karst.
